Sharon Katz Rimland is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) who graduated from Rutgers University School of Social Work in 2013.  Sharon has completed Behavioral Tech’s Foundational Training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure Treatment for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (DBT-PE) and has had advanced training in DBT.  Sharon has been working in DBT practices since graduation in 2013, and became passionate about DBT as she has seen lives changed by learning and using the skills.  Sharon loves working with teenagers for several reasons: first, the teen years are extraordinarily difficult particularly in today's world and therefore need added time and compassion; second, she is keenly aware that some teens suffer more than others and need kindness and validation in order to build a life worth living.  Additionally,  Sharon graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an undergraduate degree in psychology and from law school at the University of Chicago.  Sharon and her husband have raised two daughters in the Millburn/Short Hills area.
